Civil rights activists in Cobb County, Georgia, have been urging members of the group to return in drive to the upcoming faculty board assembly on June Tenth to rejoice Juneteenth by signing as much as converse in help of minority members of the college board, who’ve been under fire lately. Somebody created a flyer for that function; the flyer reproduces the native faculty district’s brand to assist the general public focus simply on which faculty district is at concern.
In an obvious effort to discourage this marketing campaign, the college board has deployed an education law specialist on the agency of Nelson Mullins, to say that the usage of the brand is deceptive, threatening to sue Richard Pellegrino, the sphere director for the Cobb County chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, for trademark infringement.
