About the Event

Second Edition of NMIMS ERISTICA – National Level Debate Competition organised by SVKM’S NMIMS School of Law, Navi Mumbai permits the scholars with a chance to come back ahead and experience the artwork of debating and take away experience, experience and excellence.

Being part of the newer generations, it’s crucial to debate and debate over the issues in society and any options for a similar that will come up as college students and future lawmakers of the nation. It strives to supply a protected platform for college students to develop and experiment with their communication abilities and demanding considering.

Participants must advance in Three rounds, with Preliminary and Semi-Finals having the subject “Does cultural appropriation promote the heritage of a community or hamper it?” and the Final spherical having the subject “Is language/accent one other foundation for Racial Discrimination?.

This debate might be based mostly on the Lincoln-Douglas debate format, i.e. one on one debate as a way to promote individualism amongst contestants.

Eligibility

The competitors is open to all the scholars pursuing an undergraduate course in any registered University.

Team Composition

Only particular person registrations are allowed and a most of three groups (three people) from any college/institute can take part.
