International regulation agency Hogan Lovells is happy to have suggested personal financial institution Berenberg and the Berenberg Green Energy Junior Debts Funds (I and II) on the financing of two renewable tasks in Finland and Spain.
Longstanding agency shopper Berenberg has offered a junior debt bundle to worldwide venture developer Energiequelle GmbH to help the development of an onshore wind farm in Finland. The wind farm contains seven Nordex N149 generators with a complete capability of 30 MW. The Konttisuo wind farm is the primary funding for Berenberg’s debt funds in Finland and the beginning of a cooperation between Energiequelle and Berenberg on this sector.
In Spain, Hogan Lovells suggested Berenberg’s debt funds on the junior debt financing of the acquisition of the 50 MWp photo voltaic photovoltaic plant “Las Naranjillas” in Carmona (Seville), Spain, by Amarenco, an Irish photo voltaic unbiased energy producer. Las Naranjillas consists of 121,800 photovoltaic modules, able to producing sufficient clean electrical energy to satisfy the annual demand of virtually 14,000 properties.
Led by Hamburg based mostly associate and Head of the German Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects Dr. Carla Luh, Hogan Lovells suggested Berenberg in each transactions on all features of the financing together with the due diligence and the finance documentation.
