International Bar Association’s Legal Policy & Research Unit is inviting applications for internships based out in London.

About the International Bar Association

The foremost organization for international legal practitioners, bar associations, and law societies. Established in 1947, shortly after the creation of the United Nations, the IBA was born out of the conviction that an organization made up of the world’s bar associations could contribute to global stability and peace through the administration of justice.

About the Opportunity

Legal Internship Programme with the IBA’s Legal Policy & Research Unit from April – June 2023.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interns will assist the IBA in developing academic papers and research on key legal topics of both local and international relevance. They will be able to draft policy papers on substantive legal issues as well as assisting in preparing background research for grant proposals.
  • Interns will have the opportunity to assist in implementing technical assistance programmes in developing countries

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Law Students, postgraduate Law Students, and newly qualified Lawyers
