Absolutely. I’m Indrajeet K Singh, the founder and CEO of Lex Cube. I’ve always been fascinated by both law and technology. In my first year of law school, I created a website for people to share legal queries, kind of like a Quora for Law. That was the start of my journey.  

I have embarked on a mission to revolutionize the legal industry by introducing AI technology. I have always believed in the power of innovation to solve real-world challenges, and Lilith AI is a testament to that belief.

What inspired you to create Lilith and introduce AI technology to the legal industry in India?

The idea for Lilith came from witnessing firsthand the difficulties people often face when dealing with the legal system. The complex jargon, steep costs, and the overall daunting nature of the law can leave many feeling lost and overwhelmed. I saw an opportunity to use AI technology to bridge this gap and make legal help more accessible, efficient, and cost-effective.

Lilith was created with the goal to empower everyone from legal professionals and law students to ordinary people, offering them a comprehensive AI tool that provides customized legal solutions and advice.

How does Lilith’s advanced algorithm assist legal professionals in solving complex legal problems? Can you provide some examples of how Lilith has helped users in the past?

One of the main advantages of Jurisbrain lies in its ability to enhance efficiency and save time. It quickly sifts through extensive legal documents, providing users with useful insights and explanations. The kind of information users can anticipate includes detailed summaries, explanations of intricate terms, and detection of possible issues or inconsistencies within the documents.

What types of legal documents can be processed and analyzed by Lilith’s Jurisbrain feature? Are there any limitations or specific formats that it supports?

The Jurisbrain feature in Lilith is designed to process and analyze a broad variety of legal documents. This includes contracts, agreements, court filings, legal opinions, among others. It supports different document formats such as PDFs, Word documents, and plain text.

Despite its versatility, there are a few limitations, especially when handling heavily scanned documents or those with complex formatting, or documents that are exceedingly long.

However, we’re always working on enhancing Lilith and expanding its capabilities to handle a wider array of document types and formats. In fact, we are planning to soon incorporate support for audio and video formats as well.

In what ways does Lilith differentiate itself from other AI-based legal platforms available in the international market? What unique features or advantages does Lilith offer to its users?

Lilith differentiates itself in several ways from the existing AI-powered legal platforms. While other platforms may not be readily accessible to the general public, have high costs, provide unclear responses, or have slow processing times, Lilith overcomes these constraints. It’s designed to be universally available, meaning everyone can use it.

In addition, it supports multiple languages and voice search, making it a comprehensive and user-friendly solution that caters to a wide array of needs. It’s these features that help set Lilith apart from other tools in the legal tech market.

How do you envision the future of legal AI in India? What role do you see Lilith playing in the evolution of the legal industry in the country?

    Answer:  I see a very promising future for legal AI in India, ripe with potential to bring about substantial changes to the legal industry. I personally think, we lawyers are very pen and paper based person. However, as even our courts are transitioning towards paperless systems, I believe we’re on the cusp of a significant revolution. Advanced AI tools like Lilith are primed to play a crucial role in this transformation by enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and precision in legal practices. Our aim with Lilith is to spearhead this change, by providing legal professionals with sophisticated AI capabilities and equipping individuals to tackle legal challenges confidently. By constantly improving its features, broadening its knowledge base, and staying attuned to the evolving legal landscape, Lilith is poised to be a driving force in shaping the future of India’s legal sector.

Data privacy and security are important considerations, especially when dealing with legal documents and sensitive information. How does Lilith ensure the confidentiality and protection of user data?

    Answer: Data privacy and security are at the core of our operations with Lilith. We abide by stringent data protection protocols and industry-leading practices to guarantee the confidentiality and security of our users’ data. Lilith employs encryption techniques to safeguard data during both transmission and storage, and all user data is securely held on servers with limited access. Notably, Lilith does not retain any files uploaded by users, thereby ensuring data remains solely in the users’ control. We adhere to all relevant data protection laws and regulations, thereby upholding user privacy at every interaction point with Lilith.

As technology continues to evolve, what future developments or enhancements do you envision for Lilith? Are there any upcoming features or improvements that users can look forward to?

    Answer: The development of Lilith is an ongoing process, and we have exciting plans for its future. As of now, Lilith is a Gen-1 model – think of it as a newborn with superpowers, that will mature and grow stronger over time. Our vision includes the incorporation of more advanced natural language processing techniques, expanding the breadth of legal topics in our knowledge base, and improving the algorithm’s analytical skills. One of my personal goals is to see Lilith streamline access to legal help. Users can expect a host of new features, such as interactive case simulations, personalized legal insights, and the ability to integrate seamlessly with other legal tools and platforms. We’re also planning to introduce gamified features like interactive quizzes and memory-based games. Further, we aim to offer ‘lawyers on demand’ and where users can track their updates just like tracking their food on Zomato or Swiggy. It’s fair to say, this is just the beginning of our journey with Lilith.
